Maternity Photography


Maternity sessions are my favorite way to capture your unique and ever-changing form. A personalized session with me will serve as a celebration of the intimate times you'll share with your baby.


Everyone's path to parenthood is different. I enjoy meeting with my clients one-on-one for a personalized consultation. The opportunity to learn about you and your unique story is so very special to me. During your consultation, we'll have the opportunity to get to know each other as we brainstorm and visualize your ideal session.


Maternity sessions are scheduled between 28 - 34 weeks gestation. I recommend that you contact me early in your second trimester to schedule your personalized consultation and photography session. Maternity sessions may take place at an outdoor location or my in-home studio. Immediate family members are welcome to join.

What to expect...


During your style consultation, we will discuss our overall goals and expectations for the session. Here are some ideas of what you can expect to discuss.


  • Hair and make up
  • Clothing
  • Colors and how to get the most out of them
  • Your location goals and preferences
  • Accessories/props
  • Review and discussion of your inspiration photos (Pinterest, Google, my portfolio, etc.)
  • Final image editing and packages available for purchase


Maternity sessions typically last an hour. I recommend scheduling outdoor sessions to begin 1.5 hours before sunset or 30 minutes before sunrise.

Pricing


The session fee for a Maternity session is $290. The session fee does not include digital photographs or print products. A full price list, including Collections and A la Carte options, is presented to you during your personalized consultation.


The session fee is due at booking and reserves a spot for you on my calendar.


After the session, I'll host a proofing appointment (in-person or via video). During this time, you'll select your favorite proof images for final editing and your Collection. You may choose from the Collections I've created or create your own from the a la Carte options available.


Once the final invoice is paid, final editing begins. Your products are ordered through my professional print lab then hand-delivered or shipped directly to you.
