Fresh 48 Newborn Photography
Babies go through major changes in their first few days of life. A Fresh 48 session with me will help you recall all of their tiny details for years to come. These images also make beautiful birth announcements!
Let's capture those quiet moments with your baby before you come home together. A Fresh 48 session is a documentary-style session typically shot within 48 hours after your baby's birth. These sessions take place while you and your baby are still at the birthing facility.
If you would like to include immediate family members, they are welcome to join the session (this includes the baby's parents and/or siblings)!
We will discuss your editing preferences during your consultation, but images are typically edited to retain as much detail as possible. Editing may include adjustments to color for redness/jaundice, skin flakes, stork bites, etc.
What to expect...
During your style consultation, we will discuss our overall goals and expectations for your session.
We will cover:
- A general timeline for the session (we will defer to medical staff during the session as needed)
- Accessories/props
- Final image editing preferences
- Collections and A la Carte menu with products and digitals available for purchase
- Review and discussion of your inspiration photos (Pinterest, Google, my portfolio, etc.)
Prior to booking, you will need to review visitor guidelines with your healthcare provider and share them with me. Staying compliant and safe are among my top priorities.
Fresh 48 sessions typically last about an hour.
Pricing
The session fee for a Fresh 48 session is $290. The session fee does not include digital photographs or print products. A full price list, including Collections and A la Carte options, is presented to you during your personalized consultation.
The session fee is due at booking and reserves a spot for you on my calendar.
After the session, I'll host a proofing appointment (in-person or via video). During this time, you'll select your favorite proof images for final editing and your Collection. You may choose from the Collections I've created or create your own from the a la Carte options available.
Once the final invoice is paid, final editing begins. Your products are ordered through my professional print lab then hand-delivered or shipped directly to you.
